Sad Sad encounter

In my previous blog I wrote about one phase of <>, Juli leave a msg to tell me that too difficult to understand.

Have anybody being betrayed by their best friend before???? OMG, recently I have experience it once again. It happen to me twice, once is my Primary school which we have been very close and knew each other for more than 15 year at the time I being betrayed. Current event is by a Friend which I knew for more than 10 years. People always say that once bitten twice shy, for my case being bitten twice should be ok when the third time occurred to me, right?

To me both incident cut deep to my heart, one is old wound which by now has already recovered. The other is new wound which now still bleeding ……………..

To carry hate / angry is too heavy for us as a working adult, all of us too busy with work yet need to shoulder all these kind of punishment. Who call us as human being???

Last year, “Mook” my ex-colleague told me a story which I myself have read thru an email circulation. Story is about one day there is 2 monks try to cross the river; at the river they saw a young lady who’s is trying to cross the river too. Due to the fact that she timid to cross the river by herself, therefore, the old monk agreed to carry her over the river.

The young monk keep cannot understand why the old monk did that as as a monk they should not have any body contact with women. On that nite, the young monk finally has the courage to ask the old monk why he carries the lady over the river on that afternoon. The old monk reply that I have already put down the lady once I carry her over the river, why are you still carry her till now?

The morale of the story is trying to tell us that once things happen don’t try to grieve over it, sometime things just happen and is beyond our control, there is an old say that “Don’t cry over the spill mike” This story have been keep me move on for the pass few month, I have down time in my career and personal life but whenever there is set back I always remember this story.

I wish to thank this person who circulates this email to me (which I cannot remember now) and all my friends that have stand by me.

New NOTEBOOK

Last Saturday (2 Dec 06) Jeron told me that there is an IT fair going on on “Suntec”, thank to her that she informed me the event going on so I decide to go to the show due to the fact that everyone knew that I keep wanted to buy a notebook as currently I don’t have any PC and home. Since I am leaving my current company so it become even more inconvenient to me without a PC / Notebook.

So on Sunday afternoon I happily go “Suntec” for the IT fair, “Oh my god” when I check with the information counter assistant where the event hold, she told me that there isn’t any IT fair going on in “Suntec”, so I call Jeron again to check where she got the information, she told me that she heard it over the “Radio – Yes 933”, so I ask where is the location the DJ mention and realize that it is held at “Singapore Expo” la. GOD, at that moment I ask myself “to go” or “not to go”, due to the fact that already travel half the distance so I tell myself why not just go……………………..

Aiyo, Singapore Expo was flooded with people, so many event hold at the same time, they have “John Little sales”, “Car show”, “IT fair” and etc.

Whoever knew me long enough will know that my IT knowledge is “Limited Co’s”, thanks to Shirley hubby who give me some advise and those sales persons whose hard sell their products, in the end I choose . This is which they have taken over from IBM, I put my bet on the big brother name “IBM” although my Notebook name is but the technology and skill should be very much same as IBM, right.

Choosing also due to the fact that it value for money, I paid $2k to have the lighter weight (1.95kg) compare to all other brand which cost more is the weight is less than 2kg and the software is more advance that other.

At last I have my own Notebook, although this is not the initial brand that I looking for, but is what I choose for myself. Hopefully I bet on the right side.
